LS is now taking steps on her own! On Tuesday, she started taking two steps at a time, but then as soon as she realized what she was doing, she would sit down. This has continued the past couple of days, but now she actually knows what she is doing and thinks it's really fun! My baby girl . . .
This week and next, Pappa has a break from teaching. This week we have designated our work week, so hopefully next week we can play a little more. We are having to clean out closets where we just stuffed stuff in when we moved in here. Yuck.
I hope we have some readers left out there, I know we've neglected this blog lately. I want to keep writing, because it's the only way we have to remember things sometimes. But, it is so hard to find the time to do it, of course with the little ones being so time consuming.
Lots of people told us that once the second child got to be one, things would get a lot easier. I think they were right. Now LS no longer breastfeeds at night, and the nights have gone really well lately. Things aren't so intense. Of course, now that LS is starting to walk, she might be harder to look after. The children play beautifully together, and it's so nice to see. But, the sibling rivalry is another thing. Oh, the joys and pains of parenthood. Everything has two sides. I want time to speed up and slow down. I want them to get bigger and remain my babies. I would like to go back to work or something, but can't stand the thought of not being a stay-at-home mom. *sigh*

awwww...do not despair! i think it is amazing what you do. you really do inspire me : ) miss you all and already anticipating the summer!!!
Can't wait to see little miss LS walking...how about a video..?
She must be so happy...what does BB say about it?
Hope your "workweek" is going smoothly and that next week can be relaxing for all of you!
Big hugs!
Yes, we're still out here, checking every day, just in case! And it was worth it! I so enjoy hearing my baby talking about her baby! I used to stand you up in front of the refrigerator so you could balance against it, then you'd take a step or two!
Wow! Those last five sentences sound familiar!
When LS walks, BB makes sure that we know that he can walk, too. :)
Sorry, the video attempts haven't proven successful yet -- when LS sees the camera, she immediately sits down and crawls to check it out. We'll keep trying.
did i write this or did you? clara is 53 weeks old and erin is 51 weeks old. our babies are developing so closely and with that develop comes these feelings of "speed up...no wait slow down"! miss you LA and never doubt that people are reading!
Don't fret! we are still reading out there! I feel the same way already, and mine is only 5 months! The speed up, no.. slow down thing is so heartwrenching. But i keep remembering it is a season, everything is a season, and everything good is a blessing. Miss you terribly!!
